Arif Aksuoğlu’s personal, independent energy information resource: who I am, how the site is prepared, and what I pay attention to.
Who am I?
I am Arif Aksuoğlu. Since 2017 I have worked as a sales professional in the energy sector at Yeşilırmak Perakende Satış AŞ (YEPAŞ), covering field sales, tariff discounts, fixed unit pricing and prepaid/forward sales models such as PTF+YEKDEM.
I am based in Samsun, Turkey. I prepare the calculators and guides on this site to give plain, verifiable answers to the questions I hear most often in the field.
Why does this site exist?
Items on an electricity bill, tariff types, PTF and YEKDEM are confusing for most subscribers. My aim is a free, easy-to-follow resource that helps you understand your bill and your energy investment decisions (solar, EVs, saving).
Independence and transparency
- This is a personal project. It is not the official website of my employer and does not speak or market on behalf of any supplier, distributor or retailer.
- I do not recommend a specific supplier, brand or product; guides and tools are prepared without taking sides.
- Values you enter into the calculators stay in your browser. If you use the contact form, what you write is used only to reply to you.
How I prepare the content
- For tariff and market data I rely on official sources such as EPDK and the EPİAŞ Transparency Platform.
- Calculations are informational and do not replace an official bill or legislation. Please check the relevant institution’s publication for current values.
- I try to update pages as tariff values and limits change. If you spot an error or outdated information, please let me know.
